The Selects
A new chapter in artist support.
It is with great pride and anticipation that we announce the launch of WARI x CM: The Selects,
an initiative dedicated to championing a new generation of visionary artists.
This inaugural group has been chosen with great care for the strength of their work, the distinctiveness of their voices, and the trajectory they are forging in contemporary art. Each artist represents a rare and compelling perspective, and we are honored to support them at this pivotal moment in their creative journey.
WARI x CM: The Selects operates in six-month cycles, offering tailored support to emerging talents as they navigate the evolving landscape of the art world. Each artist will benefit from a thoughtfully tailored six-month program that includes press features, curated exhibitions, studio visits, collector introductions, personalized mentorship, and ongoing visibility across our expansive network. Today, we are thrilled to unveil our very first generation of WARI x CM: The Selects, a curated cohort of exceptional artists whose work inspires, challenges, and redefines the contours of our time.
Meet The Artists

Mariella Smilas
Mariella’s work weaves memory, language, and material
into a tactile language wheremeaning surfaces only to
blur again.Through layered text and cyclical gestures
of revealing and erasing, she evokes the fragile space
between remembering and forgetting.

TERRAFORMING
16th October to 19th October - London
Wari Art, in partnership with CM Art Advisory is delighted to announce Cartographies of Pigment – International Artists Reimagining London, an exhibition bringing together five international artists whose practices transform pigment, texture, and material into vibrant visual geographies. Staged during Frieze Week, the show positions pigment as a radical expression of identity and belonging—reclaiming London’s muted palette and re-situating the city within the lived realities of global migration.
